In 2008, a handful of optimistic entrepreneurs and I decided to bet on the sun.
CP Solar was born out of that shared belief. We built an assembly line from scratch, exporting solar panels and residential kits to the EU market and the Caribbean islands. The work was hard. The margins were thin. The learning curve was steep. But something clicked inside me during those early years that I never managed to turn off.
A genuine love for this industry.
Fast forward 18 years — and 6 weeks ago, I stepped into my role as COO at GE4A Group.
These past six weeks have been a lot of things at once. Intense. Humbling. Energising. We have projects running simultaneously across multiple regions. Every week brings a new conversation — EPR compliance, recycling taxes, ESG reporting, carbon footprint, Digital Product Passports, logistics, dismantling, end-of-life asset management. The complexity is real.
But so is the opportunity.
What's becoming clearer to me — maybe more than ever — is that PV circularity is no longer a niche. It's the next frontier of our industry. Millions of panels are aging. Entire fleets are reaching end-of-life. And the world is still figuring out what to do with them.
We know what to do with them.
At GE4A, we're building this the right way. Brick by brick. Project by project. No shortcuts. We assess, we advise, we test, we operate. We show up in multiple regions and we make sure our clients are genuinely heard — whether the topic is recycling tax, ESG obligations, carbon impact, packing, dismantling, or what happens to a panel at the very end of its life.
Since joining officially, we've been able to materialise real agreements and push our expectations higher than where we started. That matters to me. Not because of the numbers — but because it means the model works.
I didn't join GE4A for a title.
I joined because I believe this industry has a responsibility to close its own loop. And that's exactly what we're building — right here, right now.
